Courtworx have answered many of these questions about the idea of having a tennis or sports court. From thinking about the project, preparation, construction and finishing your new tennis court.
Thinking about Tennis & Sports Court Construction
Do I need to have a totally flat surface for you to build a tennis court on my property?
No you don't need to have a flat surface. If the land where you want to have your tennis court built on is not flat, we will dig it out. It will be cut and filled to make it perfectly flat before we start to build the court itself.
Do I need planning permission for a tennis court?
Broadly speaking, you will not need planning permission to install a tennis court on your own property. Having said that however, with most aspects of a tennis court involving construction, fencing etc, then you would be advised to check with your local planning office.
Our project manager will discuss this with you.
How long does it take to build a tennis court?
It will take anywhere between 6 to 10 weeks, including landscaping or digging out the ground in preparation for your new tennis court.
Is fencing included in the charges you give me?
Our project manager will make sure that everything you need is included. Your estimate will show the planning costs, groundwork costs, the court costs, line painting, net, posts and perimeter fencing. Everything will be broke down on the estimate so you can clearly see what is being charged for, and how payments are expected for milestones within the project.
How long will my new tennis court last?
Providing your tennis court is kept cleaned, and regularly maintained, the court could last a lifetime. However, if neglected, or not properly maintained, then the weather will have an impact on the quality of the surface over time.
Courtworx uses the very latest technology available for the design and build stages of the project, resulting in a first class surface for you to enjoy.
